LAST 3 DAYS HAVE NOT BEEN GOOD. IT SEEMS LIKE I GET SO CLOSE TO GETTING UNDER 130 AND I GET TO 131 AND I GIVE UP I START TO EAT LIKE A CRAZY PERSON.
TOM IS THE HOUSE AND YESTERDAY I WORKED 16HRS AND I USE THAT AS AN EXCUSE TO EAT LIKE A PIG AND OFCOURSE TO TIRED FOR A WORKOUT .
TODAY I WORKED AT 4AM AND WAS SO TIRED THE REST OF THE DAY. I ATE JUNK AGAIN. AND DID NOT WORKOUT SO THAT MEAN NO WORKOUT ON SAT SUN AND MONDAY!
IM HOPING TOMOROW I FEEL BETTER AND GET MY GROOVE BACK. I CANNOT EXPLAIN IT AND WHY IT IS THAT ONCE I DO GOOD AND START IMPROVING I SET MYSELF BACK????? ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED
Ana, I don't really have the answers to why - but I know that we all have our weaknesses when it comes to reaching goals. There was a quote I have seen numerous times about how people are 'afraid to reach their own potential' or something but I cannot find the quote now.
ReplyDeleteI did find this in my search though;
"It is inevitable that you will be faced with failures along your rising path toward success. The way that you choose to deal with those challenges and circumstances defines who you really are. Napoleon Hill once said, “Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure.”
This is so true. It has happened to me. At least you are aknowledging that you do this - you know you do, and now WE KNOW you do - so it's one more thing to overcome. YOU are really doing well...you're getting there. Don't throw all your progress out the window by having that attitude of "well, I messed up today so I'll just keep eating bad" or skip your workout...cause you knwo that's not gonna help.
We all get tried, we all crack. Shoot, we all want pizza or whatever sometimes but you know deep down it's only temporary satisfaction right? Next time, think of us and think of reporting back to your trainer and blogger family and see if that pulls you through. I am rooting for you, girl!!
I'm wondering if eating poorly cintributes to your fatigue?
ReplyDeleteClean up your diet, girl and I bet you will have more energy.
BUT, TOM time does require more calories, so your body does need extra at that time. Just have to be careful of where they come from.
I feel ya! When I get busy and tired...the eating frenzy begins. Shake off the dust and move on. These few days DO NOT define you. You CAN do this!
Now, GO GET WHAT YOU WANT!
ALOT of us are there. ALOT of us do this. Believe you are only human and when you work crazy hours and are exhausted, your mind plays tricks on you. Just believe.....you've done it before, YOU WILL DO IT AGAIN. The body of your dreams is within reach. Hang in there!
